The luxurious holiday cottages at Melfort Village in Scotland have a wide variety of accommodations ranging from one to three bedroom units, offering varying layouts including bunkrooms and sofa beds, sleeping from two to eight guests. Each cottage is equipped to the highest standard with a freeview television, dvd player, a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, oven and microwave. Laundry facilities and large communal chest freezers are situated centrally.

This superior collection of holiday cottages at Melfort Village on Scotland’s West Coast, are close to the shores of beautiful Loch Melfort. The 19th century stone cottages of the old village blend charmingly with the surrounding tranquil countryside. Guests can enjoy swimming, horseback riding, tennis, boat trips and fishing. Watersports facilities are available nearby.

The area is ideal for sightseeing, where every turn in the road provides a breath-taking view. Melfort Village is a small holiday village nestled in the hills and oak woods at the head of Loch Melfort, amidst some of the most beautiful scenery on the West Coast of Scotland. Melfort Village is only a 2½ hours drive from Glasgow and 3½ hours drive from Edinburgh. From Glasgow, follow the A82 along Loch Lomond to Tarbet where you take the left fork onto the A83, through Arrochar and Inveraray to Lochgilphead. Kilmelford is 23 miles north of Lochgilphead on the A816.

The turn off for Melfort Village is on the left hand side just before the village of Kilmelford. Follow the single track road into the Resort.

There is a utility fee levied for the use of electricity. Dogs are allowed on site and there is a fee of £17.50 per dog per week and £8.25 for a second dog.
