The narrowboats at Canal Boat Club At Blackwater Meadow Marina in Ellesmere, Shropshire really are well equipped with a four burner gas hob, grill, oven, television and cd player. If you decide to remain moored within the Marina, staff will link you into mains electricity. Please be aware that beds can often be smaller or narrower than at home.

Cruising is subject to guests accepting the compulsory tuition, which is only available on check-in days. In exceptional circumstances you may not be able to cruise if the Marina staff are not confident in your ability to use the Narrowboat. Minimum number of able bodied persons required is 2. Your boat is designed, licensed and insured for either four or six berths, depending on its size and no more than that number may sleep on board. Bring flat shoes, trainers and wellington boots if you can. Blackwater Meadow boats are not stationary, they are for travelling up and down the canal.
